A lot of my friends always ask me what I use for my skin. I also often get compliments from other people that I have nice skin.
Taking care of our skin is important. Our skin, being the LARGEST body organ that we have, protects ourselves from the infection that comes from parasites, viruses, and bacteria that may lead to various disease.
Having a skin care routine is one great way to take care of our skin. Although, not all skin is the same, thus, not all skin care is the same nor may work the same for everyone.
I personally developed my night time skin care routine, as evening is the best time for our skin regimen to achieve our best skin yet.
Watch my night time skin care routine:
I start by removing my mascara and makeup using oil-based cleansers. Sometimes though, I use facial wipes to remove my makeup. Then, I always follow-up with facial cleanser to get rid of the dirt and residues left on my face. I only exfoliate and apply face mask once or twice a week (but that doesn’t happen religiously). Using facial toners also help minimize our pores and remove traces of grime. Essence, on the other hand, relieves our skin’s hydration. I always apply moisturizing cream and eye cream to cap off everything.
I used to have very dry skin before- visible dry patches near my mouth, cheeks, and nose, that I can’t get rid of by just using a moisturizer. This routine (and products) made my skin smooth, radiant and hydrated through time.
