Beauty Product Empties — September 2017
So, I have been collecting a handful amount of trash the past few months for this beauty product empties post. Finishing up products is just too satisfying. Finally, I am able to say “mission accomplished!”
Being an under-buyer myself, using up products is normal. Besides, I don’t like switching from one skin/hair care product to another as I believe this would only cause skin irritation. Not unless the product itself is what’s causing me skin problem, then that’s the time I have to pare it down before I even get to the half.
BEAUTY PRODUCT EMPTIES
1.) Kracie Aroma Resort Fine Apple & Gardenia Hand Cream 70g
If you are not yet familiar with Kracie, it is a well-known beauty, pharmaceutical, toiletries, and food company in Japan. Aroma Resort is one of their skin care line. If you have a dry skin like me, you know how essential moisturizers and creams are. I bought this hand cream in Beauty Bar when it was on sale, and I would say that it is a steal! This comes in six different variants so you can choose which ever suits your preference. The cream doesn’t feel greasy, unlike other hand creams that I have tried. Also, it does moisturize my hands right after application. The scent of this Fine Apple & Gardenia Hand Cream is very mild and relaxing.
Would I repurchase? Yes, but I’ll probably try a different variant.
2.) Dove Nutritive Solutions Oxygen & Nourishment Shampoo 350ml
I have been a Dove girl for a long time, and I would unbiasedly say that Dove is among the best shampoo brands in the market. I had used Dove’s Intense Repair and Hair Fall Rescue+ shampoo before, this Nutritive Solutions by Dove is fairly new so I gave it a try when it was made available in the store. In fact, this is already the second Dove Nutritive Solutions bottle that I have emptied up.
This shampoo has a fragrant fruity smell that I love. It adds volume and nourishment to my hair— it is specifically formulated to have this function. I could see how lightweight the formulation of this shampoo is because doesn’t weigh my hair down since I have a naturally flat hair.
Would I repurchase, again? Yes! Definitely, will!
3.) Etude House Pink Vital Water Cream 60ml
If you watch my YouTube videos, you’ve probably seen this on my Night Time Skin Care Routine video. This is a very moisturizing water cream, great for people with dry skin type. I used to use this every night before I sleep, and I like how smooth my skin feels the day after. This has a peachy fragrant smell but still tolerable. Although, if you aren’t a fan of scented face creams, then I wouldn’t recommend you to try this since the fragrant is quite strong.
Would I repurchase? For now, no.
4.) Silk Secrets One Minute Hot Oil Treatment Pearl Essence with Vitamin E & C 350g
I am not a regular hair conditioner user, instead, I use over-the-counter hot oil/hair treatments for an extra hair care. This is suggested to be used on a daily basis, although sometimes I tend to forget to apply it so normally, I only use this twice a week. I love that this makes my hair soft and tangle free for days even though I don’t use it regularly. Also, it doesn’t weigh my hair down unlike the other hot oils that I’ve tried.
Would I repurchase? Yes.
5.) Summer’s Eve Island Splash Cleansing Wash for Sensitive Skin 444ml
I don’t have yeast infection nor any serious problem down there, but I like using mild feminine washes. This product smells insanely good— like a candy. It didn’t cause irritation when I started using it, and it did make me feel clean and fresh. I used this regularly, but I noticed that the longer it gets, I started feeling discomfort when I use it.
Would I repurchase? No.
